The Long…
Glendale Presentation Solutions was founded in 1994 by Gordon Quinn, who brought nearly 25 years of experience as a Territory Sales Manager with General Binding Company (GBC). With a deep understanding of the industry and a passion for quality, Gordon set out to build a business focused on reliability, expertise, and outstanding service.
The name Glendale comes from the street where Gordon and his family lived—also the company’s very first base. Within six months, the business had outgrown its home beginnings, moving into city-centre premises, employing three full-time staff, and quickly establishing itself as a trusted supplier of binders, laminators, shredders, and more.
As customer demand grew, so did the product range—naturally expanding to include guillotines, booklet makers, paper folders, and a full suite of print finishing equipment. Continued growth led to moves into larger premises to support an expanding customer base.
In 2007, Gordon retired but remained a much-loved and familiar presence within the business until his passing in 2021. His knowledge, values, and stories continue to inspire the team to this day.
Still run by Gordon’s family, Glendale remains true to its founding principles: delivering quality products, prioritising customer service, and providing trusted solutions. Today, we supply high-performance finishing equipment to clients worldwide, including many in the UK—from blue-chip companies and commercial printers to SMEs, educational institutions, and public sector organisations—many of whom have been with us since the very beginning.
In 2021, Glendale relocated to a modern facility featuring a dedicated showroom for both in-person and virtual equipment demonstrations. Continued growth led to another move in 2025—this time into premises twice the size—giving even greater capacity to showcase equipment, support customers, and expand our services.
Our team is close-knit, experienced, and passionate about what we do. Three of our staff members have been with Glendale for over 20 years, reflecting the loyalty and commitment that define our business. When you work with Glendale, you become part of the family.
We’re also committed to reducing our environmental impact. From electric vehicles and FSC-certified packaging to carbon-neutral delivery through DPD, we actively work to minimise our footprint. Each year, we also support charities chosen by our employees, keeping community and care at the heart of everything we do.
